Wellness Experience for the Travel Trade

Yoga & Glamping Trip Perth

A 4-day yoga and glamping experience from Perth into the heart of the Margaret River region – combining SUP yoga, Cape to Cape hiking, sound meditation, artisan workshops, and luxury glamping at the award-winning Fair Harvest. Built for travel agents packaging wellness-focused Australian itineraries, incentive programmes, and Fully Independent Traveller (FIT) experiences that go well beyond the expected.

About This Experience

Margaret River Region, Western Australia

This is not a standard yoga retreat. And it is not a regular tour either. Billed as Australia’s first yoga and wellness tour, it weaves together daily yoga sessions, coastal hikes along the Cape to Cape Track, artisan food and wine experiences, and three nights of luxury glamping at Fair Harvest – a permaculture farm tucked into the quiet bushland of the Margaret River region.

Travellers meet inspirational locals at every turn. A renowned yogini leads SUP yoga on Geographe Bay. A holistic healer guides a half-day hike with Shamanic Light meditation. A spice mistress runs a hands-on masterclass. There are natural skincare workshops, gin tastings at Margaret River Distilling Co., sourdough demonstrations at a working farm, and sound healing sessions to close the trip. The whole thing runs with a maximum of 16 guests in an air-conditioned minibus, keeping it intimate and unhurried. For agents building wellness-focused, experiential Australian itineraries – or looking for something genuinely different to add to a Perth and South West package – this ticks a lot of boxes.

  • 4 days / 3 nights luxury glamping at Fair Harvest permaculture farm
  • Daily yoga and mindfulness sessions – all levels welcome
  • SUP yoga on Geographe Bay, Cape to Cape hiking, sound meditation
  • All-inclusive – meals, activities, tastings, national park fees, transport
  • Max 16 guests – ideal for FIT, small groups, wellness incentives
A stunning coastal landscape featuring a pristine white sand beach with crystalline turquoise waters, backed by windswept coastal dunes and native vegetation. The secluded beach is framed by dramatic coastal cliffs and offers pristine swimming conditions under clear blue skies.

COMPLETE ITINERARY

Your Yoga & Glamping Experience – Day by Day

Leave the City Behind & Find Your Flow

Your guide collects the group in Perth and the drive south begins. First stop is the Crooked Carrot Cafe & Farm in Myalup for morning tea – a quirky roadside spot that sets the tone nicely. Then it is straight to Meelup Beach, one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in the South West.

After a beachside picnic of fresh local produce, the first yoga experience kicks in. Meet Heather Starr – legendary local yogi and founder of the South West Yoga Fest – for a session of SUP yoga. That is yoga on a stand-up paddleboard. There is a beach introduction before heading out onto the water. Sky above, sea below, salt on your skin. It is a memorable way to open the trip, and it produces the kind of photos that sell themselves.

Many laughs later (it is harder than it looks), the group embarks on a 2-hour hike to Cape Naturalist through the Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park. The coastal vistas are stunning. After the hike, reward yourself with a chocolate cookie and coffee at Gabriel Chocolate, where they transform raw cacao beans into something special.

A short drive to Fair Harvest, and the luxury glamping tents are waiting. Located on a permaculture farm with food gardens, a Farm Cafe, Yoga Barn, and forest walks, this is home for the next three nights.

Trade tip: The SUP yoga is a genuine differentiator for this product. No yoga experience is needed – the instructor caters to complete beginners – but it gives your clients a story they will tell everyone when they get home. The hike is moderate at around 4km.

Hike, Heal & Create

The morning opens with a gentle Yin Yoga session followed by a nutritious breakfast. Then it is off to the Margaret River Markets to collect fresh local produce for later in the trip. The energy at the markets is infectious – a good taste of the region’s character.

The highlight of the day is a half-day hiking experience along the Cape to Cape Track, led by local holistic healer Dan. This is not just a walk. Dan weaves mindfulness, ritual, and ceremony into the hike, and guides the group through a Shamanic Light meditation along the way. Beach picnic and a swim afterwards.

Back at Fair Harvest, natural beauty guru Marita runs a Natural Skincare workshop. Guests make their own mud-based face mask, create a 30ml Luxury Glow Serum using essential oils, and produce Body Moisturiser bars to take home. Hands-on and genuinely satisfying.

Dinner is prepared by Sarina The Spice Mistress – a local identity who guides the group through a Spice Masterclass while cooking flavoursome food and sharing insights into the healing properties of spices.

Trade tip: Day 2 has the most variety and tends to be the day guests talk about most. The combination of bushwalking, meditation, artisan workshops, and the spice dinner creates real depth. For wellness-focused FIT clients, this day alone can be the reason they book.

A vibrant outdoor market scene featuring abundant fresh vegetables and flowers arranged on wooden crates and red plastic baskets beneath tall plane trees. The stall displays colorful produce including eggplants, peppers, squashes, and vibrant flowers, with market umbrellas and other vendors visible in the background, typical of a European farmers' market.

Vineyards, Gin & Margaret River

A Hatha Yoga session starts the morning. Then it is time to glam up for an afternoon exploring Margaret River’s food and wine scene. Visit iconic vineyards for wine and cheese tastings. Wander the main street of Margaret River town with its eclectic boutique shops and galleries. Grab lunch at one of the many great cafes and just watch the world go by for a while.

The afternoon highlight is a Tour and Taste experience at Ginaversity – Margaret River Distilling Co.’s gin destination. The group sips four gin varieties with garnishes while Ben, the venue manager and passionate gin creator, shares the story behind each one.

The final evening is a celebration. Fresh local produce collected throughout the trip comes together for a communal dinner at Fair Harvest – celebrating health, the region’s bounty, and new friendships formed over the past few days.

Trade tip: This day balances well against the more active and introspective earlier days. The wine tastings and gin experience appeal to clients who might not consider themselves “yoga people” but are drawn to the broader wellness and lifestyle angle. It rounds out the product nicely for a wider audience.

A scenic vineyard landscape in Wilyabrup, Margaret River, Western Australia, featuring lush green grapevines in neat rows stretching toward rolling hills under clear blue skies. This picturesque wine region is renowned for its white grape cultivation and popular wine tasting tours.

Sound Meditation, Sourdough & Farewell

The final morning features a sound meditation session with a local healer. Sound healing has ancient roots across cultures worldwide, including Indigenous Australians who have used the didgeridoo as a healing instrument for over 40,000 years. It is a powerful way to close the experience.

After packing up camp, the group heads to One Table Farm & Cooking School. Tim and Cree run a tailor-made sourdough making demonstration – all the stages, all the tips. The group relaxes over lunch tasting a variety of breads and farm-to-plate organic produce, and takes a walk around the sustainable farm they have built from scratch. Their story is genuinely inspiring.

Feeling satisfied and a little different from the person who left Perth four days ago, it is time to board the minibus one last time. Arrival back in Perth is around 5pm. Namaste.

Trade tip: The sound meditation and sourdough workshop make for a surprisingly strong final day. Clients arrive back in Perth at a reasonable hour, which works well for agents building this into a broader Western Australia itinerary. We can arrange Perth accommodation, onward flights, or connections to other touring products across Australia.

A panoramic waterfront view of Perth, Australia, featuring the iconic Elizabeth Quay Bridge with its distinctive curved arch design spanning the Swan River. The modern cityscape with high-rise buildings is reflected in the calm waters, with boats docked in the foreground and clear blue skies overhead.
